Yuriy Shcherbak: Poland deserves the Nobel Peace Prize for helping Ukraine during the war
The outstanding Ukrainian intellectual, politician, writer and diplomat said these words the other day in his interview with a correspondent of the Ukrainian Service of Polish Radio Svitlana MIALYK.
-The world is facing a complete emptiness as far as the international security architecture is concerned. After the Russian-Ukrainian war, it will have to be rebuilt. Just as it happened after the Second World War, - believes a well-known Ukrainian politician, the First Minister of Environment of Independent Ukraine Yuriy Shcherbak. According to him, the system of international relationship has been completely destroyed. And we are facing the emptiness that could end in nuclear war. According to Yuriy Shcherbak, this war, which putin started against Ukraine, is the beginning of the Third World War, which could end in the destruction of the world. In an interview with Svitlana Mialyk, Yuriy Shcherbak described geopolitical challenges facing Ukraine, analyzed the situation at the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant, which is currently occupied by the rashists, and outlined a possible scenario to end the Russian-Ukrainian war. As for the role of Western partners, in particular, Poland, the diplomat called it a brilliant idea of the former US Ambassador to Poland, Georgette Mosbacher, to award Poland the Nobel Peace Prize for selfless assistance to Ukraine and Ukrainians suffering from Russian aggression.
