Focused on the action: AUP – Association of Ukrainians in Poland
Association of Ukrainians in Poland (AUP) has been consistently providing long-term and effective support to Ukraine and refugees. "We encourage Polish society in different ways, an important component of which is the Ukrainian national minority, to support refugees and to increase aid to Ukraine every time," Myroslav Skirka said, Head of AUP, during a meeting with representatives of the Independent Media Forum in Warsaw. - Financial donations are the simplest, but at the same time the most effective form of aid: material collections are needed only in very specific cases, and local purchases are specific and most effective.
We help with funds so that there is an opportunity to freely decide on the ground - to buy a blanket or sleeping bag, changing sets, water or a travel ticket. Association of Ukrainians in Poland organizes various forms of assistance and is engaged in the activities of other charitable organizations.
From Szczecin to Przemyśl and from Olsztyn to Legnica - wherever there are structures of our organization and individual members of AUP - you can clearly see our commitment to helping Ukraine and people fleeing fighting. You cannot hear about it because we are more focused on the action. But we know that the activities of our volunteers are worth talking about and remembered.
Please note that in most places we do not collect items in kind nor collect other humanitarian aid (clothing, food, medical supplies)."Our portal starts a series of publications dedicated to the work of AUP.
