Ukraine also needs a Polish commission
In Poland, there broke out a stormy political discussion related to creating a special commission to clarify Russia’s influence on the safety of the Poland Republic in 2007-2022 (Independent Media Forum was informing for some time about the intention of creating such a commission).
The relevant decree was signed by the President of Poland, Andrzej Duda, who pointed out his own conviction in the appropriation of this decision, pointing out that it was made too late, what he regrets about.
Furthermore, Andrzej Duda, who today is the most rated Polish politician, pointed out that he would like to know the answers to a number of questions, among which – why did Poland enter into those, but not into other contracts with Russia and why, for instance, does it pay a higher price for gas than Germany?
The opposition sharply reacts to creating. In its mind, this decision, which was made on the eve of parliamentary elections in Poland, is discriminating and unjust.
However, the President, Andrzej Duda, explains that he directed the law on the establishment of the evaluation commission to the Constitutional Tribunal of the Republic of Poland, and that any decision of this commission may be appealed in court.
Editor-in-chief of “Gazeta Polska”, Tomash Sakievich, in the front article, supporting the creating of special commission, writes that ‘for 300 years the Polish problem has been enormous influence on the neighboring states, especially Russia, on the main directions of the functioning of our people’, and pointing that ‘Russia wanted to transform Poland to a colony’.
Creating the commission for clarification of the Russian influences, in the number of leading Polish politicians’ mind, will help the state to get rid of agents of Russian influence and will strengthen Poland, which is Ukrainian’s ally in the war against the Moscow aggressor.
Does not it seem to our Ukrainian readers that such a special commission would be really useful as well for Ukraine, in order to tell the truth about the Russian influence on our state and expose Ukrainian Putin’s guides?
