About the Russian influence on Poland again
About the Russian influence on Poland again
As we have already informed on the 4th of June 2023, in Polish society there is going on heated discussion related to the fact that the President of Poland, Andrzej Duda, has created a special commission for investigating the Russian influence on the country’s safety in 2007-2022.
This decision evoked ‘big chaos and big emotions’ in public debates and was estimated by the opposition as a personal attack on the leader of the political party ‘Public Platform’, the ex-Prime Minister of the Republic of Poland, and the head of the European Council, Donald Tusk, who hopes to win the following elections and get back into the government.
An influential journalist of the pro-government camp, Katarzyna Gójska, in the new issue of the magazine ‘Nowe państwo’ (‘New State’, June 2023), has posted an article ‘Tusk and Putin – a secret that Poland has to know’. There it is stated that the first and the most important decision of Donald Tusk after getting into the government was rebooting the relationship with Russia. He thought that his most important mission was concluding agreements with the Kremlin. Meanwhile, Russia, to which Tusk was decisively approaching, was a genocide state, extremely anti-Polish and hostile to the countries of our region, emphasizing Katarzyna Gójska. It was demonstrating this position quite frankly – it was tough not to notice this.
Tusk offered to this criminal state different profitable for it projects, made Poland be dependent on Russian energy carriers not only in a danger way, but also in a very expensive one.
Poland opened doors to Russia in different international organizations, taking a subordinate position, and also gave the Russians an access to sensitive public investments that are in charge of safety.
The author of the article remembers the 2010 Smolensk disaster of the Polish government plane, in which died the President of Poland, ministers, parliamentarians, generals. She insists that, thanks to the decisions of the government leadership, the Polish state got degraded itself, giving to the murderous institutions of Russia total control over finding out the reasons of this aviation catastrophe.
Katarzyna Gójska’s blames are getting complemented by Krzysztof Karnovski on the internet portal Niezależna.PL (04.06.2023), by an informational sensation about the fact that in 2010 the then government was preparing the agreement that allowed sending polish soldiers for participating in Russian military operations!
You can imagine what factors would have been exposed if there were created an independent and objective special commission for an investigation of Russian influences in 1991-2022 on our state and society.
