     Runway, Donetsk...

The 115th separate mechanized brigade of the AFU is one of the most effective military units of our army. Although during the full-scale Russian-Ukrainian war it was considered a reserve part of the Armed Forces, it has showed itself from the best side, having displayed heroism and military skills in the defense of the eastern borders of the country for a long time. The unit proved that it is capable of fighting, having suffered heavy losses during the fight for the cities of Severodonetsk and Lysychansk of Luhansk region, when the occupiers outnumbered it tenfold in terms of personnel, equipment and ammunition.

Now the fighters of the 115th brigade have come as close as possible to Donetsk. Thanks to their zeal and professionalism, they are 400 meters from the runway of the Donetsk airport and 2,000 meters from the very separatist capital of the unrecognized "dpr".

Being on approach to the airport, the brigade daily conducts all the necessary maneuvers and actions in order to approach the date of the liberation of the regional center of Donetsk, while the occupying forces are constantly shelling with heavy equipment and artillery. Directly from the combat positions, the difference between the artillery fire of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in particular, the 115th Brigade, and the occupying army is incredibly strong.

Conducting heavy fire from artillery, tanks, aviation, cruise missiles, prohibited weapons, phosphorous, cluster bombs, TOS-1 "Pinocchio" MLRS and other deadly weapons, the aggressor country tried to intimidate us. But the occupiers were mistaken and underestimated us. During this horror, every soldier is encouraged to think about his or her relatives and friends, and that Ukrainian towns, cities and villages are behind us, which must be protected from the attacks of the invaders. And the enemy is already beginning to understand that we are inspired to exploits by our land and our air, in which, especially on the front lines, the smell of Freedom is felt. The fighting spirit of the military is lifted by the fact that comrades who were previously wounded, after recovery, return to the ranks.

Our gunners work completely differently than the enemy: the invader, sparing no shells, tries to destroy our heroes, firing at everything in sight (we can answer their 100 shells with ten), the gods of war from the 115th fire only at clear targets. The enemy is trying to prevent this, making attempts to destroy our artillery at once, as soon as it determines where it is firing from. Therefore, in order to minimize risks, our soldiers conduct artillery fire very precisely with a minimum number of shells and quickly. We strike the enemy not at random, like they, but in a deliberate, professional manner. After all, each of our shell must be effective, each target must be hit.

     Concrete protective structures

Over the past eight years, the occupiers have created concrete protective structures on approach to the runway. The first obstacle on our way is the enemy trenches, which in our direction have concrete layers of protection, and further onis the runway itself.

The fortifications in front of it, built by the occupying Russian army, are the most difficult obstacle on approach to the airport. The runway is 120 centimeters of the lower layer filled with almost 200 thousand tons of concrete, and 45 centimeters of the upper layer with 45 thousand tons of concrete. Since the concrete was poured using a special technology for airplanes, it is impossible to break it through with ordinary shells. Heavy artillery is necessary.

That is why all our attempts to hit certain targets in response to shelling of our positions do not always bring the desired results. After all, the enemy's equipment and artillery, after firing back, immediately hide under the concrete like rats. They are backed by enemy self-propelled guns to the right and left of Donetsk. Therefore, in order to attack the enemy's fortified positions, the brigade needs powerful high-precision artillery and heavy equipment, primarily tanks.

If we had the sufficient amount of weapons and ammunition, we could cut off the enemy's supply, the delivery of food, and the evacuation of the wounded. So, we desperately need at least a tank battalion — 31 tanks, heavy precision artillery, howitzers, self-propelled guns and the maximum number of shells. Then we would not only be able to consolidate on the already occupied positions, but also be guaranteed to knock out the enemy from there with less risks for our fighters.

     The occupier should have fear

Tanks, artillery and a large number of shells are necessary for our fighters not only to hold their positions soaked in the blood of their fellows. The occupier should be afraid of us even in anticipation of our shots. Enemies must know that each of our shells will hit the target, destroying them. And when we liberate Donetsk from the katsaps, it will deal a fatal blow to all of putin's propaganda, completely undermine trust in the dictator. The entire Russian army and their zombified people will be demoralized. And we will be able to liberate from the occupation not only Donetsk region, but also Crimea and Luhansk in a very short period of time.

The positions of the UAF near Donetsk are of great strategic and political importance: the Armed Forces of Ukraine will be able to win a victory over the occupiers faster, which will significantly increase the fighting spirit, patriotism and faith in the victory of the entire people of Ukraine and our partners in other countries.

The brigade is convinced that the time will come when Donetsk will be liberated from the occupiers. Ordinary soldiers, shedding blood, together with unit commanders, are gradually liberating their native land from the invaders.

     Connection with the country

We are very pleased that Ukrainians are interested in the life of the brigade and many of them even want to serve in it. You can find out how to do this by calling 097-5005005 or by writing to our e-mail address [email protected] orour Facebook page.

We will be grateful to volunteers and charitable foundations if they help in purchasing the necessary items: for the successful and effective performance of combat tasks, the brigade needs quadcopters, thermal imagers, night vision devices, and a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 319 vehicle for the press service, which we want to equip as a mobile television studio to make direct connections with TV channels of Ukraine and the world to cover the exploits of our heroes. We will be happy to accept all this as charitable help.

     Glory to Ukraine!
