Literary platform Booknet separates the Ukrainian version into a separate project

      The international literary platform Booknet (booknet.com) separates the Ukrainian version into a separate service and transfers it to a separate Internet address - Booknet.ua     This was reported to Ukrinform by the PR division of the Ukrainian version of the Booknet project.     "The decision to separate the Ukrainian Booknet into a separate project is connected with two factors. First, the Ukrainian-language version is the absolute leader in its market in terms of the number of users - in September 2022, the daily number of Ukrainians using the Booknet website or mobile application reached 55,000 unique users (in January, there were 15,000 users per day). Secondly, the financial indicators of the Ukrainian Booknet have increased many times over the past six months. For example, 44,000 books were sold in three winter months, and more than 100,000 exemplars were sold in three summer months," the company said.  As you know, Booknet is a platform where the reader reads books directly published by the author. Therefore, an important indicator for the platform is the income of the authors themselves, which are also growing rapidly.     According to Booknet, in June of this year the total remuneration of authors amounted to about 600,000 hryvnias, and in September authors received 1.2 million hryvnias. The platform paid more than UAH 800,000 in VAT to the budget of Ukraine in Q III.      Booknet believes that such rates of development and the fate of the service on the Ukrainian e-book market give reason to believe that the Ukrainian Booknet will not just be a service for publishing e-books by authors, but a publishing holding with different trends of development, which is not planned in other language versions.     The Booknet company has been operating on the market since 2018. It is an electronic library and a social platform at the same time.
