Thousands of people leave Crimea not to avoid becoming soldiers of the occupying army
Refat Chubarov: “The Kremlin doesn’t let the tragedy that happened in 1944 be forgotten because it continues it. The main goal of the occupiers is to oust Crimean Tatars from Crimea.”
“The more time passes from the moment of crimes, the forced eviction of the Crimean Tatars from their homeland by the communist regime, the more acute the pain. Because we didn’t have time to revive the culture, to establish the native language in Crimea, when Moscow again invaded our land,” Refat Chubarov, chairman of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people, emphasized in an interview with Polish Radio for Ukraine on the occasion of the Day of Remembrance for the victims of the genocide of the Crimean Tatar people.
About the forced eviction of the Crimean Tatars by the communist regime in 1944, plans to turn their homeland into russian territory, as well as the war of the russian federation against Ukraine, the current situation on the peninsula, in particular, the systemic expulsion of the Crimean Tatars and repressions, Refat Chubarov spole in the program “Talk of the Week”.
