Documenting: Russian army is destroying the Ukrainian cultural heritage
In Kyiv, the Ukrainian Institute started publishing "Postcards from Ukraine". Their main motive is the photos of landmarks destroyed by the Moscow-based aggressors in comparison with their appearance before the destruction. Despite the imperfect, often amateur photos on postcards, graphic designers of the Ukrainian Institute demonstrate horrific facts of the invasion of the army of our eastern neighbor and the destruction of national shrines. The authors of the project want to emphasize that the Russian army destroys the Ukrainian cultural heritage every day. This is a deliberate action - the Russians shoot directly at churches, museums, monuments, theaters, universities, cultural centers, cinemas and cemeteries of various confessions. The objective of the "Postcards from Ukraine" project is to convey the extent of the destruction of the Ukrainian culture to the world community. Telling documentary postcards with the images of destroyed and damaged landmarks are being distributed under the hashtag Postcards From Ukraine
